In the 45th anniversary of our countrys independence, SHRO-Cairo
Board of Trust and Executive Committee convey the best wishes for the
generous People of Sudan who continue to struggle for the full enjoyment
of human rights and civil freedoms in peace and prosperity in spite
of the wasteful rule of the NIF and its atrocious crimes. The brave,
honest, and persistent striving of our nation to regular democracy,
the rule of law, and the fair and permanent peace will triumph. We dedicate
this issue of the Sudanese Human Rights Quarterly to this unwavering
resistance and centuries determination to live in dignity and
freedom.
