THE CRISIS OF RELIGIOUS FAITH AND RULING POLITICS

A CRITIQUE OF THE MUSLIM ULAMA AND LEADERS'
CALL TO AHL AL-SUDAN (10)

The African largest nation in space, the affectionate lovely and proud People always have received non-Sudanese Muslim as well as non-Muslims with hospitality with the beauty of soul and freedom of mind that their struggles for freedom always granted them, with no Kurbag [whip] of Haraka Islamiya, with no "patriarchy or patronage" of any Muslim or non-Muslim leader or thinker or organization, the Sudanese who welcomed all neighboring sisterly States and "elements of Arabs" from Middle East and African States throughout history, ancient and modern.

The African Sudanese who have been famous in history for the love of Justice and Freedom, were aggressively attacked by the ruling Haraka Islamiya, their women flogged in streets, their children shot dead by the killing bullets of Haraka Islamiya in Southern, Eastern, Western, and Central Sudan, in Ailafoun, Qitaina, and other camping areas of the same places that once were allocated with peace and generosity for the hosted women, children, and men of persecuted Muslims and other groups.

Sudanese Africans have indiscriminately shown all sympathy to the citizens of Egypt with whom Sudanese had deep blood ties and other important political, economic, and social bondage. Sudanese Africans have shown equal sympathy to Palestinians, Algerians, Tunisians, and People of Morocco.

In the 1960s Sudanese Africans the Haraka Islamiya persecuted and still is killing and humiliating in their own Homeland supported with blood, money, and every good property the Algerian Revolution to free Algeria, People and Land, from the dehumanizing French colonization that was only killing and persecuting Algerian women, Jamila Bu Huraid and her colleagues.

Abbas Farahat and Ben Bella were as famous and respected in Sudan as the prominent leaders of Sudan, Al-Za'im Ismail Al-Azhari, Al-Za'im Ali Al-Mirghani, Imam Abdel-Rahman Al-Mahdi, the prominent trades unions leader Al-Shafi' Ahmed Al-Shaikh and the distinguished Sudanese progressive thinkers and leaders William Deng, Abdel Khaliq Mahgoub, Mahmoud Mohamd Taha, Professor Mohamed Omer Bashir, Jamal Mohamed Ahmed, and many others were.

The Sudanese Africans that the Haraka Islamiya butchered and dehumanized in their own Homeland had always presented to the Palestine Liberation Movement Sudanese volunteers whose noble African blood is now grown in "Teen wa Zaitun" [fig and olive] as the Palestine State reconciled with Israel whereas the Sudanese Peace Agreement 1988 was torn apart by Haraka Islamiya for the sake of a crazy, unfair, inhuman, disastrous war that burnt Sudan's wealth in the South, made of the wealthy beautiful proud Equatorians, Dinka, Nuer, Ingessana, Nuba, Massaleit, Zagawa and other People of Sudan wretched and destitute refugees as well displaced millions of Sudan youth and families all over the world in hardships that Palestinian or other "Arab elements" never knew or experienced. We have demonstrated to protest the killings of children in Deer Yasin and Bahr Al-Baqar. Have you protested the killing of our children by Haraka bombardments?

This savage uncivilized and non-Islamic record of Haraka Islamiya State and Party will stay for ever in the memory of Sudanese as the worst disaster ever in the modern history of Sudan.

The measures your International Haraka Islamiya or Muslim Brotherhood must take to redress these horrible injustices will only possibly be accepted if:

Firstly, you strongly condemn the State and Party you have wholeheartedly helped to culture with violence and crimes against humanity in Sudan.

Secondly, if your Haraka authority righteously surrenders to the Sudanese Democratic Opposition that is led by the NDA to establish Democracy and make the just and permanent peace in Sudan.

Thirdly, when you put a strong pressure on your Haraka together with the vast majority of Sudanese to prosecute za'im Dr. Hassan Turabi, president Bashir and all their accomplices in and outside Sudan whom you definitely know or heard about for all of the crimes that they have ruthlessly committed against Sudanese between June 30, 1989 to the day they will be definitely overthrown and put to trial before independent Judiciary of Sudan as well as international court.

Fourthly, to pull out of all internal affairs of Sudan and Sudanese since you have shown beyond any doubt how you have always acted as the biggest supporter of the Haraka State and Party in Sudan to the extent that you called upon Sudanese to continue supporting them with all the failure you admitted they had.

Let me give one example as comparison between Sudanese destitution and others. Whereas Palestinians enjoyed full recognition through their struggle and the struggles of Sudanese Africans and others with them to be recognized in the United Nations, obtain Observer's Status in international community agencies, and establish their own State, Sudanese Southerners and other victims of the Haraka Islamiya have not yet enjoyed full international recognition as such by the United Nations with due appreciation to all States Parties that consistently condemned the Haraka State in Sudan, i.e. Sudan Government, and supported the People of Sudan before United Nations treaty-bodies in Geneva and New York .
